AMELIA HUTCHINSON
Amelia Hutchinson is an emerging designer recently based in London, UK.
Her design career began after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of South Australia.
The shift into the film industry was driven by the desire to find a medium that could push the creative constraints of the literal world. This led to studying a Master of Production Design for Screen at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) where her graduate film earned her a nomination for
Emerging Designer of the Year at the 2023 APDG awards.
Since graduating in 2021 she has found her niche within set design and has worked within art departments across local and international television series and feature films such as, Foe, Better Man, La Brea S2, Ricky Stanicky and Metropolis. Amelia enjoys creative collaborations in all areas of the film industry. She is always looking to grow her creative thinking and through clever design create environments that evoke emotion and enhance storytelling.
